To celebrate the grand opening of Georg Jensen’s New Bond Street store, we designed two intimate architectural installations that bring a playful sense of movement to a curated selection of archival jewellery and homeware pieces. Each composition reimagines a deconstructed mid-century apartment, drawing from familiar design codes that are abstracted to evoke a sense of modernity. In one, products appear to dance gracefully down a spiral staircase, while an ajar door entices passersby to step inside. In the other, an open window poetically frames a constellation of jewellery in the sky beyond, as a candle flickers gently in the evening breeze. Both installations embrace a palette of tonal reds, harmonising contrasting textural finishes with the warmth and richness of teak wood.
