The Formative lamp, was commissioned by Wallpaper* for their Handmade 2015 selection, an annual salute to craft and creativity that brings together the best designers, artists and manufacturers to make one-off wonders. The design of this lamp is the result of a collaboration between Robert Storey and Kalmar.

Founded in Vienna in the 1880s, Kalmar's family-run company started as a fine bronze expert and soon became known for its chandelier production. It now focuses on large lighting installations.
