Loro Piana
For the 2025 edition of Salone del Mobile, the kiosk on Via dei Giardini morphs into a luxurious movie theatre box office, serving as an elegant prelude to La Prima Notte di Quiete—an immersive installation conceived by Dimorestudio within Loro Piana’s Cortile della Seta courtyard. Bordeaux velvet curtains cloak the kiosk’s façade, with openings revealing custom niches for popcorn giveaway boxes and a hatch where visitors can collect a printed manifesto alongside their popcorn. The kiosk’s monochromatic Bordeaux body is contrasted by display surfaces finished in high-gloss lacquer in Kasha, the brand’s signature hue. Brass bolts, cast iron backlit text elements, and meticulously curated lighting details infuse the structure with a sense of effortless luxury.
For Milan Design Week, we transformed the kiosk on via dei Giardini into a cinema-style box office where passersby could register to receive tickets for La Prima Notte di Quiete, a theatrical performance conceived by Dimore Studio for Loro Piana. The façade of the installation is clad with rich red velvet curtains evoking the nostalgia of the cinema experience and the anticipation of a grand opening. Visitors are invited to collect a box of popcorn from lighbox niches, some lucky enough to find a ticket granting priority access to the immersive experience.
