Drawing from the concept of Nike UNLACED we celebrated existing features within this Parisian apartment and transformed the interior through architectural and material interventions, exploring dualities between revealing and concealing, hard vs soft and lo-fi vs hi-fi. A combination of a monochrome palette, pops of colour and shiny materials such as latex, shrink wrap and perspex juxtaposed against fur and foam to enhance the visual dualities and simultaneously create the stylish, sexy and sporty environment for the new Nike woman. A journey through the ‘Hall of Fame’ lead guests into a mesmerising display of Nike’s iconic shoes while rotating seating in the lounge created an interactive 360º view of the space. The experience ended with a customisation bar to personalise sneakers whilst being immersed into a cloud of laces, further elaborating on the concept in a tactile and visceral way.
